How do you decide whether a task has gone well or not and what you would do differently next time?
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
Mark Twain
Throughout the 1st year I have learned certain methodologies to understand the requirements of a task/project and I have also been taught how to evaluate and test my work. Based on the learnt practices of the analysis of a project, I am able to evaluate and test my project. The findings of the evaluation can be utilized to introduce fixes and solutions on the problems.
Additionally, when I built a project I like to set SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-Based) goals. Besides the fact that the goals can help prioritize and provide relevance to my project, can also determine the success of the project as such.
One very important note one should take into account is the vast feedback one can gather based on the aforementioned practices so as to utilize it as a learning exercise for future projects.
